I began writing this blog long time ago, and I deleted it. Again, again, and again. It was because I never had an idea to whom I was writing this. Should I write about my life? Should I write about academic subjects? It never ocurred to me that I can do both, or what is better that I can write about whatever I want.
Then, I was scared about no one reading it, or too many people reading about it.
It was not until I began reading other people blogs that I realized that many people just write about their lives, romantic lives, academic subjects, or more than one subject. I loved it, and what is even better I really enjoyed reading about completely different subjects. From the adventures of a newly divorcee to a smart ass Argentine political scientists.
Last but not least, should I write it in English or Spanish? It was the great and funny Lola Copacabana who showed me that you can write it in both because it really doesn't matter. I guess that that is the beauty of a blog. It's spontaneous and you can do whatever you want with it. So, this is and will be my philosophy. I will write whatever I like, in the language I like, whenever I want.
